This is a letter to the editor that I submitted last year (2024), and it has now been published and will also be published in German in the journal's partner journal. The authors (DGAKI Working Group) also published their response to my comment. It turned out to be quite a useful discussion, I think.
Note that the paper they cite regarding the low bioavailability of calcium from dairy alternatives did not report tests of soya milk fortified with calcium carbonate - which likely has good bioavailability (in contrast to tri-calcium phosphate).
By the way, the "Sir" at the beginning I did not write.
The English version is the original and is open access (availble for free). The German version is a translation of the English article and I think, is not open access.
