The upper still looks (on the website; haven't seen them "live") like it's "cheap" polyurethane (PU) that will not withstand all that many kickflips. However, the soles may be good, and you can use Shoe Goo/Ripcare etc. You should anyway, I think.

The more skaters that will refuse to wear animal-source leather, the better, better for the animals who will not have to go through being raised and slaughtered, and better for the environment and the workers in poor (financially underprivileged) countries like Bangladesh. Just google: hazaribagh leather ... Hazaribagh is the "tannery neighbourhood" in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. One could say: it's where people, not "just" animals, die for your (animal-source leather) skate shoes.
