The éS "hyper beauty" collection includes one more vegan model: an all canvas version of the "Accel Slim". This shoe is not labeled as "vegan" on the éS website, and the éS customer service has told me (twice) that it is NOT vegan. However, I assume this must be a mistake. The upper is 100% canvas, and I doubt that éS uses different glues or outsole rubber components (which could theoretically contain some animal-source ingredients) for this shoe compared to the shoes labeled "vegan". I've also seen this shoe being sold by an entirely vegan online shop.
And ... I've actually ordered these shoes now from the éS website (éS Europe). The delivery (from the Netherlands to Germany) was super fast, and these shoes fit true to size (same as all éS, Etnies, Emerica, comparable to Vans too), and they are comfortable and ready to skate straight out of the box. Maybe a bit too pretty to skate in. My opinion: these shoes just look amazing. And I'm not a fan of tie dye usually.éS "Accel Slim tie dye" (all canvas)
