I hadn't noticed that Etnies have a vegan colourway of the "Marana" shoe. As confirmed by Etnies, the colourway "tan /gum" of the "Etnies Marana" is vegan. The upper is canvas in the midsection and synthetic suede around the heel and toe areas.
This is one of the Etnies Marana shoes that comes with a Michelin sole. I have seen the Michelin soles (not the vegan colourway) in a local skate shop and they look very interesting, not too heavy, to stiff, or too non-grippy as one might fear thinking of a car tyre company.
I haven't tried the "Etnies Marana tan gum" yet, and it's not available on the Etnies website anymore, but it's still available in some other shops.

Note that this (tan/gum) is the ONLY vegan colourway. As far as I'm aware there are no all canvas versions.
Also note that the Etnies Marana "tan brown" is NOT vegan.
