The Lago Llanquihue here is surrounded by pastures of cows (mostly), sheep, horses, donkeys, some enclosures of only calves, some pigs and chickens most of whom seem to have a lot of space and - at least with nice weather - relatively enjoyable lives. But all of them are at the mercy of the farmers daily and most will die an early and violent death. We also saw some fish farms, but couldn't take pictures. Even though I don't know the percentage - I assume the majority of animal products comes from factory farming - Chile also has industrial factory farming and they use almost the exact same methods as in the US for example.
Der Lago Llanquihue ist hier von Kuhweiden umgeben. Man sieht Schafe, Pferde, Esel, kleinere Weiden nur mit Kälbern, auch Hühner und sogar ein paar Schweine. Alle scheinen relativ viel Platz zu haben - aber die meisten werden offensichtlich bald und noch jung geschlachtet - Weiden mit Bullen und Hähnen gibt es natürlich auch nicht. Auch in Chile existieren Massentierhaltungen, die fast identische Methoden wie z.B. in den USA anwenden (Schweinemast, Hähnchenmast, Legehennen, Rinderzucht, Fischfarmen). Ich nehme an die Mehrheit der Tierprodukte stammt auch hier aus der Massentierhaltung.
El Lago Llanquihue está rodeado de pastos con vacas, ovejas, caballos, burros y también pollos y chanchos. Parece que todos tienen relativamente mucho espacio, pero la mayoría de ellos va a morir joven y violentamente. Por supuesto tampoco existen pastos con bovinos o pollos machos. No conozco las cifras exactas, pero en Chile también existe la cría industrial de animales con métodos casi exactamente igual que, por ejemplo, en EE.UU. Asumo que en Chile la mayoría de los productos animales también viene de las granjas industriales. También ví un centro de piscicultura pero no pude sacar una foto.
